Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Tequesta, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: $22-$25/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and inventory operations in a regulated environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient order fulfillment, and proper handling of returned medical instruments.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, follows structured processes, and maintains a high level of accuracy while supporting compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving Operations
- Process outbound shipments including picking, packing, and verifying shipping documentation
- Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming materials and returned items
- Track and resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or missing items
Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including lot tracking and product traceability
- Perform inventory transfers, adjustments, and system updates
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies using root-cause analysis
- Support cycle counts and reconciliation of consigned inventory
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure warehouse activities comply with regulated environment standards (medical device/quality)
- Label finished goods and manage revisions, including removal of obsolete labels
- Maintain detailed logs, system updates, and reporting (inspection logs, service logs, trackers)
- Generate and review inventory and warehouse reports
Returns Processing & Light Technical Work
- Process returned surgical instruments and implant trays, including cleaning and sterilization
- Partner with Quality teams to evaluate product condition and determine disposition
- Perform minor repairs and light mechanical assembly using hand tools
Warehouse Operations & Support
- Maintain an organized, clean, and compliant warehouse environment
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs to internal teams
- Assist with SOP development and process improvements for warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma required + 3+ years of warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience
- OR
- Associate degree in Business or related field + 1+ year of relevant experience
- Experience in medical device or regulated environments strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with inventory systems, ERP, or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, reporting tools)
- Comfortable handling medical instruments and performing light assembly work
